When using Windows, I've noticed there is a huge lack of free programs that can burn an ISO image to disc, or the other way round.

Enter ImgBurn, a freeware tool that does just that. I've actually been using it for a couple of years, and only now is it beginning to get the recognition it deserves. It's never failed to let me down when I needed it.

The only thing to watch out for is when it gets halfway through burning and it ejects the disk. It should close the CD tray again and continue burning, but if your CD tray can't close on its own, you just need to close it yourself and it will carry on its merry way.

As stated, it's completely free, and downloading and installation is quick and painless

ImgBurn is an awesome tool. I use it myself, on my Vista laptop. Probably mainly for converting my CDs into ISO files which I then put on a backup HDD.
